Sorry folks, but here we go again. The winning bidder of the last auction never paid the deposit, never responded to emails, and has been just plan dishonest. I guess I'm just to honest of a guy, but these type of low lifes are making me real skeptical. So if you have zero feed back, questionable feed back, mulitple accounts with the same email address, I'll just cancel your bids. Sorry in advance to all the honest folks out there! So here we go; I'm selling a 1969 Chevelle Malibu SS 396 wannabe project. This Chevelle has great bones to start with for someone who has the skills to do the work themselves, and doesn't want to spend big bucks buying one already complete and can do it the way they want it done. So here we go; The front fenders need the lower sections repaired/replaced. Radiator support will need attention within the center section, or you can reuse as is, as you won't see it with the radiator installed (your choice). Both inner front wheel wells are good and metal. It has a steel SS hood in great shape. Firewall looks good with a small hole someone cut for AC hoses (approx 2"x2"). Frame horns look good and straight, as well as the rest of the frame. Both A pillars look good as well as the lower windshield cowl area, and the roof looks good. Both rear sail panels are solid, and the area around the rear window is decent, but will need attention within the lower section, but still retains a majority of the original trim clips. The upper trunk cowl is good (below rear window) and the seal area around the trunk is solid. Trunk lid is good needing minimal attention. The trunk will need a center section installed (or you can fiberglass if you choose). The inner rear wheel wells look good. The tail light panel is decent as well as both tail light housings. The car will need new lower qtr panels replaced. Both inner and outter rockers are good, but the lower rear corner of the drivers side jamb will need some minor attention. The cabin floor will need the driver side foot well replaced, and the shifter hole within the tunnel will need to be squared away. Soemone, Bless their heart, has installed an under dash AC unit in the glove box area, but I have the glove box door to reinstall. You can keep the AC unit! :) All glass appears to have a factory tint, but the windshield has a small rock chip. All window trim is there, and all windows roll up and down, as well as all door mechanisms are intact. It has SS front door panels which look good enough to redye. It only has the rear seat with the high dollar custom upholstery from back in the day. :) I have a 69 396 BBC bare block and heads that also go with the car, no trans but the cross member is there. Non posi 10 bolt rear with vintage traction bars installed. The column shift steering column has a broken key in it, but I purchased a good floor shift steering column with key here off ebay that also goes with the Chevelle. The only parts I have other than mentioned here, are in the picture. Again, finding Chevelle's is easy. Finding Project Chevelle's that dont cost you an arm and a leg isn't. Here's your chance! Please remember this is a Project, but with a little elbow grease and skill, will be a nice ride. The pictures of this Chevelle, does do this car justice! We quickly painted it black to look good from the curb. Our neighbors forget about all the late nights and weekends we spent getting their kids first cars running and looking good, so trying to keep them from calling the man! Will deliver within 150 miles of VA zipcode 23322 for $100 bucks, but only sell within the boundaries of the Good Ol'e USofA. My feedback also shows I'm a decent guy to work with. Thanks for looking and good luck! On Mar-09-12 at 14:57:37 PST, seller added the following information: I apologize to gtmharley23 that had several bids on this auction and was leading, but unfortunately had zero feed back. As stated in the ad above, your bids will be cancelled. Its unfortunate, as this ebayer was probably a legitimate first time buyer, but I'm no longer going to waste my time or my money hoping. The winner of the last auction had zero feed back, and beat out the next guy who was leading with good feed back, and didnt follow through with a thing. On Mar-11-12 at 08:00:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Well, I've lost bidders because I wouldn't cancel bids with people with zero feedback. I know I've stated I would, but some bidders with zero feedback have actually emailed me stating they are sincere bidders and want an oppurutnity to bid, and ultimately build their ebay reputation. We were all zero bidders in the beginning, and there must still be honest folks out there just wanting a chance. I guess some fellas just want to me to cancel as much competition in the bidding process as possible. Its a damn shame I have to go through all this BS, because someone could get a nice Project Chevelle that needs a little work for a real decent price.
