1964 Ford Custom Cab Short Bed truck in very good condition. These are getting harder and harder to find, especially in this condition. The engine is missing but the three speed is still in it and the shift linkage is still hooked to the column and the clutch linkage is still installed. The brakes don't work. The ford nine inch rerar end is still connected to the transmission with the original driveshaft. All the aluminum trim is on the truck except one piece between the door and the bed is missing. The cab is rust free: the floor supports, roof, stepwells, floorpans and all the usual rust spots are clear. Their is some surface rust on the floorpans where the floormats were as you can see in the pictures. The driver door has a tiny bubble on the lower left corner but it is not rusted through.Both door bottoms look great. The hood, front fenders, core support, and driver inner fender are almost perfect. The passenger inner fender has been repaired where the battery caused some rust but the right way to fix it would be to replace that inner fender. The grille has a dent in it but I have an almost perfect steel painted grille that will go with the truck. The front bumper has been abused a little. The bed has some rust through damage at the bed floor near the bed front. That's the worst spot on the whole truck and could be repaired. The panel at the front of the bed is very straight and the tailgate is also very straight. The tailgate has some rust on the very bottom edge but again a very easy fix. The inside has all the custom cab trim except the door trims and the plastic pocket that goes in the driver door. The windshield has the custom cab trim and the original Car Lite windshield is still in it but has two very small fixable spots. All the rest of the glass in the truck is original Car Lite. The driver door glass is broken but I have a perfect replacement window that goes with the truck. The truck was last registered in 1995 and is out of the system in CA. I do not have the registration or Pink slip. I have a bill of sale from the previos owner and I will provide a bill of sale to the successful buyer. The license plates and the VIN numbers are still on the truck for verification. I will part the truck out if it does not sell by the time this auction ends so don't miss out on a very desirable truck. NOTE: I do have the seat and the seat tracks and the seat needs reupholstering. The truck appears to have been repainted once. The original color was Caribbean Turqoise.
