Here we have a nice 1969 Dodge Coronet project! This is one of the most solid bodied Coronets I have seen in a long time.When I bought this car it was partially stripped to bare metal so we stripped it the rest of the way and put in 3 coats of PPG Black Epoxy primer and then 3 good coats of PPG High build primer. As far as exterior sheetmetal, it will need lower quarter patches behind rear wheels. The rest of the body is super solid. The floors and frame rails are rock solid. The trunk pan is solid other than the very center someone cut out and installed a piece of metal and welded it in, which is not a bad job just not original. This is a factory 318 automatic car. But now has a 383 big block that is a 1966 year mtr. And it has a 727 transmission and 7 3/4 rear.This again is a super solid project.The car is 95% complete minus a windshield, 2 quarter windows and carpet and headliner, there may be some little nick nacks missing but thats about it.Motor did run years ago. Then the previous owner had pulled heads and intake for inspection.
