1967 Ford Galaxie 500 California Car NO RESERVE NO TITLE, No motor, No transmission – 98,233 miles on car, I bought this Galaxie a couple months ago from a guy who drives around the eastern shore of Maryland looking for old cars on farms and in barns. He restores some or just cleans them up and tries to resell them for a profit. The Galaxie had been sitting for about 10 years and the owner was unable to locate the title, so he basically resold it as a parts car. It appears that a restoration was started because the carpet was removed, front seat was recovered and there were some new parts in the car. I bought the car for the 390 motor and C6 transmission to put them in a 1957 Ford F100 I’m restoring. The car was complete, original and unmodified and I was able to drive it around the yard before I pulled the motor. It had California smog emissions system still on the motor and was built and sold in LA, CA. Not sure how long it lived in CA, but it has very little rust. Condition Interior: New uninstalled gold carpet, new uninstalled headliner, door panels are nice with the chrome around the fake wood trim faded and there is a small L shaped cut on the passenger side that you may be able to repair, rear seat is soft with no rips and needs a good cleaning, dash pad has a crack, dash panel chrome is faded in spots, steering wheel has some cracks, no rust on floor pans, recovered front bench seat is not included but I may sell to winning bidder. Exterior: 99% rust free, paint is dull, scratch on driver’s side front quarter, small dent on driver side door, there is some rust with a couple small pin holes at the bottom corners of the rear window, 1”x2” rust spot on bottom rear of passenger door, there is some bondo on the bottom rear of the front passenger quarter panel from dent repair not rust, no other rust on the body, front grill is dull but undamaged, front bumper is nice with no dents or rust light scratches could be polished out, rear bumper has surface rust with some pitting, no rust or damage on frame, no rust on the floor pans, no rust in trunk, 2 new tail pipes in trunk Motor & Trans Not included: Ford FE 390 V8 2 barrel carb with California smog emissions, C-6, AC, PS
