The previous owner forgot to close the moon roof and some rain got inside. He called his insurance company and they paid for it in full and gave this car Salvage Title. Then sold it from insurance auction. I have no idea why they gave it the salvage title- maybe that was their policy to give salvage title even if 1 drop of water got inside . I brought this BMW to the garage and all the interior was taken out. That was a surprise - there were absolutely no water under the carpets and all the contacts were as new ( no signs of damage whatsoever). However all the contacts were cleaned up with special high end contact cleaner just in case. There were absolutely no water into the engine of course. Neither one of the computers got in contact with water. Honestly, I have no idea why this beautiful BMW got salvage title - there was no reason for that !!! I bought this car for myself and listed it for sale just because I buy and sell cars and have ability to get one for myself anytime.
