Lowered reserve 1950's Styling in a 1975 cab. For sale is a 1975 Checker Marathon. This is an A11 taxi cab and not civilian model. Car still has original roof light, passenger fare meter and foldable jump seats in back. These cars are rare and only 2555 Taxi's were built in 1975 the other 450 were passenger cars. This car is being sold as is with title but not as running. Car does run and drive but need chassis and front end work before I would trust it on the road. Car has original Chevy 250 with turbo 400, 3 speed transmission with all possible option incl: power steering, AC and transmission cooler. Car is in need of full restoration and with some TLC can be a real head turner. Just the small amount I've driven it around town I've had a lot of thumbs up and questions about it. There are two brand new Cordovan Centron 235 75 R15 tires with 1 inch white wall that have less than 30 miles on them. Again this car is sold as is and is for a real enthusiast who has the time and money to bring this classic back to life.
