Here is the perfect truck for the hobbyist or collector. This 1956-1964 Ford P400 Parcel Delivery Truck is in very good condition. The previous owner replaced all hoses and spent a good deal of money and time on the motor and transmission. His plans were to have the truck road worthy for his remote control airplane hobby. He has since retired and parted with his truck. Now, it needs a good home. The body of the truck does not appear to have any current or past leaks. . .a good solid body! The motor, transmission, brakes, radiator, etc. are appear to be clean and in good condition for a 50+ year old vehicle. However, I am not a mechanic and can not give or imply any warrantees or guarantees on this truck. I have had a NEW fuel pump installed and the truck cranks and runs good. However, the master and slave cylinders in the transmission need attention. My mechanic recommended that they both be replaced. However, that is up to the new owner. I have a limited knowledge of the service history on this truck. An invoice dated September 2004 indicates that $1800+ was spent to get the engine and brakes repaired. I always get emails and phone calls regarding the titles of vintage automobiles. In Georgia, any vehicle made before 1986 does not require a title. When I sell a vintage automobile, the local Tax Commissioner will run the VIN number to verify that the car has not been tagged in the past 20 years and issue a letter stating that the vehicle is free and clear. This letter along with a Bill of Sale is usually enough documentation for an out-of-state replacement title. So far, I have not had any problems with this method. Just to clarify any details not covered when the truck was offered before: I will not deliver this truck; I will not make any repairs to this truck; I will not give any guarantees or warranties on this truck.
