You are bidding on a 1987 Dodge Power Ram Pickup, Model W-150, Trim Level LE. Truck has 4wd, A/C, Cruise, Tilt. Original Mileage - 80,741. Condition Mechanical - This truck is as good as you'll find mechanically at this age. I have spent Approximately $3000 on mechanical work on this truck (detailed below). This truck has a 5.2L (318cu), 2bbl carb. engine. This motor, as most mopar people know, is bulletproof! Truck starts right up, the first time, every time. No stalling, smoking, hesitation, nothing. The 3spd auto transmission shifts seamlessly, not once has it ever slipped, etc. The power steering is tight, no binding. 4WD works perfectly, auto locking hubs - although I have not taken it off-road but have tested the 4wd. Exterior - The exterior is in great shape. Original. The paint is original and freshly detailed. The finish is pretty good, the hood clear coat is faded. There are typical scratches, dings, etc. No rust on this truck. It's lived its life in North Carolina and Texas. Brand New Tonneau Cover. Has under rail bedliner. The wheels are factory original 15" alloy. really good shape. Will need 2 tires soon. The size is 31X10.5 R15. Glass is in excellent condition. No Cracks. Chrome bumpers are in really good condition, few stains. All trim and bezels are in pretty good shape. There's one piece of Body-side molding that has to be reattached. There's a piece of wheel opening molding missing above the right rear wheel. The RR taillamp assembly is not broken, just discolored. All lights work. All rubber seals are in good condition. Interior - Really good shape. Brand New Pioneer High definition CD player (have the original Radio - does not work). Brand new door speakers. Stereo sounds awesome! Dash is in great condition, no cracks. All gauges work. Delay wipers, Cruise control (sometimes works!), Tilt wheel. Manual Windows and seat. Bench Seat in great shape. Headliner in great condition (small blemish over passenger side). Carpet has been cleaned. Some Trim pieces a little faded from age/sun. Here's a list of the work that's been done in the last year (11 months) since I've had it: A/C Leak Tested and Recharged (Converted to R134A) Valve Cover Gaskets License Plate Lights Coolant Service - New Freeze Plugs Trans Service - No Problems Radiator hose and cap Rear Window replaced All glass tinted Front and Rear U-Joints Rear main seal, Timing Chain replaced (Not broken, maintenance). New Front Brake Rotors and Pads, Rear Shoes. History According to the previous Owner, I am the 4th Owner of this truck. The first two, put the first 70K miles on it. The 2nd owner had it on a farm and drove it for dump runs, etc. He had the vehicle 12 years. The previous owner put 7k miles on it. I have put just over 3K on it. The previous owner had few records on it. I have every receipt since I've had it for all the work I've had done. I ran the Carfax/autocheck on it when I bought it and it seemed to confirm what I had been told. I bought this truck as a resto project. These trucks are extremely rare these days. Plenty of Fords, Chevy's from this time period but not too many Antique Dodge Pickups running around anymore! I get lots of attention when I take her out. My goal was to make this a show truck. Just haven't had the time. I've had motorcycles in the past and I'm going back to that. That's the only reason I'm selling. Not too many 1st Generation Dodge Pickups out there and I'd bet close to none in this original condition. What's it need? Nothing really other than 2 tires soon. I've had 2 shops go through this truck and basically fix anything that needed fixing. I have driven this truck in 100 degree heat for 100 miles without a problem. I would take this truck anywhere.
