Up for your consideration are two Toyota FJ-40 Landcruisers. Two years ago my son blew up the motor in my pride and joy. I bought a donor with every intention of doing the relatively simple swap myself. Two years have passed & I haven’t turned a bolt yet. You know how it goes; they still sit out there in the driveway. Each covered since parked (city ordinance, no license plate: must be covered). When I bought the donor it ran like a champion, in fact had recently had the head done. The donor is packed with good stuff too! Excellent jump seats, rear heater, headliner, a dash with nary a crack, not to mention all the drive train! I drooled at all the items that could have been parted out, I felt I could recoup my investment in the donor and still have the motor and whatever else caught my eye, and still believe that the auction winner will reap many rewards if parting one out is your thing. BONUS: Hydraulic motor hoist! Auction winner gets the hydraulic motor hoist I bought to do the job! That’s worth the price of admission right there! Let’s begin: 1975 FJ-40 Toyota Landcruiser, Manufacture date January 1975Vehicle has a late model top, with the wing windows!2½” lift kit, that’s only been on the vehicle a short time, no saggage, no heavy use & only limited wheeling. This kit has greaseable shackles. Rancho 5000 adjustable shocks for the 2½” lifted FJ-40 (not just random shocks).There is a fresh remanufactured heater unit in this vehicle, it is awesome and gorgeous. Rear heater works fine. The heat in this FJ will run you out! OEM Center consoleCool Cruisers of Texas Carpet, front and backWeber 32/36 carburetorMallory magnetic pulse distributor. The good one with the bearings, not the bushing model. This little item is so sweet!
