I am selling this car for my friend. I made sure to provide detailed pictures and a detailed description of the vehicle. Up for sale is a 1998 Honda Civic EX coupe that has a 5 speed manual transmission. The EX model translates into all power options. This model has power locks, windows, a sunroof and a 6 disc CD player. The actual mileage of the car is unknown because the the mileage calculator stopped working at 179,000 miles, so we estimate that it now has between 190-200k miles. The speedometer still works as well as the RPM gauge so we assume it is a VSS speed sensor that needs to be replaced. The front tires were replaced about 5000 miles ago as well as the front pads and rotors. The car has an after market intake and Acura Integra front seats and is otherwise total stock. There is a Sirius Satellite installed in the car and it can be used if the new owner desires. The cosmetic condition of the vehicle overall is good. There is a small rust spot under the passenger door handle and on the passenger fender which is also dented. The rest of the exterior is in nice shape and shines well. The quarter panels are free of the typical rust the forms by the wheel wells. The interior is very clean as well, but will need new floor mats. Mechanically, the car starts, runs and drives well. It does feel like it needs a tune up. The timing belt and water pump were replaced within the last 5000 miles. The A/C belt broke and will need to be replaced. The A/C did blow cold prior to the belt breaking. The clutch grabs low but it does not slip and there are no grinds or problems with the transmission. The passenger side axle "clicks" sometimes when making turns. All in all, this is a pretty solid car that is used and will need some maintenance. Honda's are notorious for lasting a very long time if taken care of. Please feel free to ask any questions.
