Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on my 1984 M1009 CUCV Blazer. The VIN is 1G8ED18J2EF189536. This vehicle is equipped as follows: 4x4, ¾ ton capacity, EXCELLENT running 6.2 diesel motor, TH400 HD 3 speed automatic transmission, 3:08 gears, NP208 transfer case, NATO slave receptacle for jump starting, pintle hook, dual batteries, military tactical markings, front lock outs, dual exhaust (quiet), fire extinguisher, STE/ICE connector, and full military camo paint. Interior: Awesome seats—covered in authentic tent material. Looks great! Also has carpet to help sound reduction—very good shape. I converted this truck from a 24 volt system to a 12 volt system—less maintenance and if maintenance is required, it is MUCH cheaper. The 2nd alternator bracket and all 24 volt wiring is there—just insulated and tied to existing wire harness in case future owner wants to convert back to 24 volts. All tires NEAR 80% or better. Additionally, the following are NEW: gear reduction starter (4 months old), ring gear, both batteries, battery clamps, vacuum pump, trans filter/fluid, glow plug relay, spare tire--has never been on the ground and Sylvania headlights. I installed a manual glow plug “push button”--the original glow plug relay was inop--my button works flawlessly! All the glass is good--windows and tailgate glass roll up and down as they are supposed to. Speedo reflects 70969 miles. Deficiencies: Battery gage inop (my multimeter reflects charging at 14-14.8 volts when running), horn don’t work, black outs inop (switches are there), fuel gage works when it wants to. Corrosion: both rear fender openings, pass side rocker. Frame, and driveline are solid. This vehicle has some scratches and light dents typical of a military vehicle of this age, but overall it is in pretty good condition. This Blazer runs, shifts, drives and stops like it is supposed to--should be able to be driven anywhere. Smokes a little on start up, but quits after a bit of warming. Title is in-hand and ready for transfer to new owner. Please ask all questions prior to bidding--assume nothing. Email me or call me direct at 765-220-6626 (Rick). This truck is sold as-is, as-shown. I require a $300.00 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the auctions end via Paypal. Full payment due within 10 days following the end of the auction. I can store for a short period of time, however, full payment will still be due as explained above. I would prefer buyer to pick this up, however, I may be able to deliver for a fee within 300 miles of zip 47374 for $2.00 per loaded mile (paid in advance and weather permitting). I have no maintenance records other than the ones I have from owning it. Also, this vehicle is available locally, as well as on many other classified sites. If it sells outside of eBay, I will end this listing early. Thanx very much for checking out my auction. On Mar-01-12 at 17:32:45 PST, seller added the following information: For info. Reserve was lowered to $2400.00. A super buy--well worth more. New owner will not be disappointed!
