1979 MERCEDES BENZ 450SL - This car has 71,323 actual miles. I listed for a friend who purchased this car on eBay 6 years ago for $ 7,500. His wife drove it for 2 months and has been stored since due to a divorce. He spent over $ 3000 on the interior. New seat covers, new carpet, new door skins, new wood throughout, new sunvisors and new dash cover. I have front and rear bumper chrome trim pieces brand new in the box not yet installed. I installed a brand new Kenwood CD player, new power antenna and a new battery. The hard top is in perfect shape and the soft top is great with the exception of a 5 inch tear on the side seam. This is a 100% rust free car originally from California. It is a complete repaint and it is not a great paintjob. The car looks great but you can see some orange peel if you look close. This car runs and drives great.. Smooth and powerful. Matching set of decent tires. Air blows but not cold. I was assured it needs a frion charge. This is not show car quality, but way above the average 79'. The LOW MILES and the fantastic interior make this car very desireable.
