I am selling a one-owner, heated-garage-kept, rust-free 1997 Plymouth Voyager (short length model) mini-van with only 22,194 miles on the odometer. I have the original title in my hands, issued from Manhattan Jeep/Eagle/Chrysler/Plymouth with 00007 miles on it. The van runs and rides excellent with a tight suspension and no sloppiness or play of any kind. The steering is tight and tracks straight and true, the brakes stop on a dime with no shimmy, pulling to the side or pulsation. The van is low-optioned, as it has manual windows and locks, no tilt steering or cruise, and a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine with automatic transmission. The only options are dual sliding side doors, air-conditioning and AM/FM radio with cassette player. Last week, I had the front brakes serviced including replacement of the rotors, and the van passed NY State inspection with flying colors. I am sure that anyone looking for one of these legendary vehicles will be absolutely delighted with the condition. The van starts right up, runs strong, and shifts gears perfectly. The engine does not make any unusual noises, and does not produce any vibration. The engine does not smoke or burn any oil whatsoever, and maintains operating temperature without any overheating issues. The charging system works just as it should. The tires do not need replacement as they have lots of life left, and are not dry-rotted. The vehicle never sat for an extended period, but saw very little use throughout its life, averaging a little over 100 miles of driving per month. It did make a trip from NYC to Miami and back, but was otherwise used sparingly. The van needs nothing at this point. The exterior is dark charcoal gray and the interior is tan. The van comes from a smoke-free, baby-vomit-free home. The paintwork is original and shines nicely. There are a few scratches on the exterior as seen in the pictures, but the body is free of rust. The interior has no rips or tears in any of the seats or carpeting, and the rear passenger seats have never even been removed. Like I said, the vehicle has seen very little use, and a test drive will make you believe that this truly is a vehicle with under 23,000 miles! If you are a fan of the 1996-2000 Dodge Caravan / Plymouth Voyager, this is a perfect example, and should go to someone who will love it for years to come. I strongly encourage you to bring your mechanic, see it for yourself, and take a test drive before bidding. As a used vehicle, it will be sold on an as-is basis.
