Vehicle Detail
I have owned and loved this car for 11 years. During that time it has been meticulously maintained by Gary Rondeau's Automotive in Hooksett, NH. It has received absolutely all needed work throughout its life, oil changed every 3k and currently has no known mechanical issues of any kind. Aside from the rarity of the 5-speed T5, this car has been carefully and tastefully upgraded over the years making a truly special and one of a kind vehicle. It has never been smoked in, always garaged and mostly easy highway commuting miles. It has been tracked once with the Porsche Club, and with its current setup, it out-handled and out-accelerated half the field. Parting with it is extremely difficult, but due to work needs and a new puppy, I've had to move to a wagon. Reserve is set very low. Mostly, instead of giving the car to the dealer to be wholesaled, I'm looking to place the car with someone who can appreciate the time and effort and that has gone into it. In addition to being fully loaded from the factory, here is a list of the major modifications and upgrades from over the years. I'm probably missing some minor items, but this should represent a fairly complete list. Performance Upgrades: IPD Engine ECU Flash Tune Upgrade IPD Full Exhaust KW Variant 2 Adjustable Coilover Kit (Lowers Front: 1.4"-2.5"; Rear: 1.4"-2.5") - Adjustment Wrench Included IPD Anti-Sway Bar Kit (Front and Rear) IPD Front Strut Tower Brace K&N Air Filter Short-Shift Kit with Momo Shift Knob and Boot Slotted Rotors (I believe I have stock pads currently on the car) Interior Modifications: Full FACTORY (very rare) Aluminum Look Dash Trim (3-piece: center console, radio surround, glove box) Schroth AutoControl Race Harness w/ Cut Off Switch (driver and passenger) - Harness fully retracts to allow normal use/look of stock belts and back seat Pioneer AVIC-N1 DVD/CD/MP3/GPS navigation receiver with 6.5" monitor Kenwood KDC-301 Single CD Player (Fills second din slot; controlled by main unit) - See photos for pics of screen up and retracted Kenwood Sirius Receiver KPA-H2C (currently not-activated) Infinity BassLink Compact Subwoofer (trunk mounted with driver mounted control knob) Antenna Control Switch Hard-wired for Passport Escort Radar Detector with Mute Control Fire Extinguisher (mounted under passenger seat) Polished Turbo Pipe LOJACK Tires/Wheels: 16" Turbo Alloy Wheels with Nokian Hakkapeliitta 2 (205-55 R15; Studded) - Minor curb rash; wheels still shine; tread approx 70% 17" OZ Supperleggera Wheels with Michelin Pilot A/S Sport Plus (215-45-17 M&S) -Minor curb rash; matte finish; tread approx 70% F / 90% R Locking Lug Nut Set Exterior Modifications: Hella Air Horn Kit Volvo V70-R Front Bumper Red Painted Calipers IPD Front Grill Rear Window Tint (adheres to NH state law for window tinting) All records of maintenance and upgrades (down to almost every receipt) is carefully recorded. The car has never driven stronger, and while it has 200k miles, it has at least that many left in it. Mechanically there are no issues and it is fully up to date with all service. The exterior is in good shape, though there is some road rash (mostly on the front and rear bumpers; see photo). Typical minor dings on the doors, but nothing of any significance. The interior is in excellent shape. Only issues are bubbling door panels (as with all Volvo's of this era; see photo), and the driver's seat has a minor split along the sewed seam (no damage to the leather, very minor repair). All switches and controls work flawlessly. Includes factory rubber mats and cloth mats. Includes all detailed paperwork, 2 spare donut tires, 1 jack and a few other minor misc parts. Major work (past 50k miles): Windshield (replaced due to road rash Summer 2010) MAF Sensor (replaced 199k) Oil Cooler Lines (replaced 190k) Rack & Pinion (replaced 155k) Clutch/Flywheel (replaced 150k) AC Compressor (replaced 145k) Timing Belt (142k) Please e-mail me with any questions, or if you are local and would like to see the car! This has been an amazing and reliable Volvo. Never any major issues, just typical maintenance as expected. It's as mechanically solid as when it was new; don't miss a chance to get your hands on a true gem. On Feb-21-12 at 18:03:31 PST, seller added the following information:Additional Included Items: 1.
