Vehicle Detail
The car came with purchase of estate. It's a diamond in the rough. An older couple were original owners and both died. They bought the most modern Impala as their last car. The car had sat, stored in the garage, undisturbed since 2008. (See pictures). It was found with 2008 license plates. The leather interior has the genuine smell of a new car. There's a few Reader's Digest magazines dated back in 2003 in the front console (see picture). There's no trace of any cigarette smoking. The trunk and interior are like new. There were no visible scratches or defects found on the exterior. There was surface rust on brake rotors so they were replaced. A new battery was installed. Fluids were replaced. The tires were inspected. The remote keyless entry system control could not be found. It has programmable automatic door locks. The six-way leather front seats are both heated. It has a manual lumbar control and reclining seat backs. Its controls are state-of-the-art for that time. The stereo radio has a cassette payer and the owner's manual says it's suitable for XM satellite radio. It has wonderfully sounding speakers. It has an On Star System, anti-lock brakes and a traction control system for a safe ride. It handles great. The car runs beautifully and is a pleasure to drive and ride in. ***THE AUTOCHECK HISTORY REPORT: Title transfer to the 2nd owner (me) for this auto came from a 2011 estate purchase. The title of the car was not a part of the estate transaction that involved the house. The car was just part of the contents. Thus, the car title had to be transferred after lien holder notification and newspaper notices. Both of the original owners had passed away prior to the estate purchase. The car title was transferred through a mechanics lean placed on the car by the towing service I had tow it. This process was necessary to follow the proper legal notice procedure for transferring the title of an abandon vehicle in this situation in Indiana. All lien holders had to be contacted and the abandoned car's existence had to be advertised in the paper. The only lien holders were the owners who had passed away. There were no keys found to start the auto, that's why it was towed by the towing service. The towing company had an ignition key made which allowed starting the car to obtain the odometer reading. To have the odometer reading verified for the transfer of title, a former owner had to fill out and sign an Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles Odometer Disclosure Statement. There were no former lien holders/owners alive to do this. The odometer reading on the title shows 13,165 miles, which was the reading after the towing service had a key made. The condition of the car, its motor and the 'new car' smell it has retained testifies to the low mileage reading on the odometer. (See photo). The 'Normal Title' classification on the title is legally supported by the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Please read the Autocheck history report with these facts in mind. Email any questions.
