The car's owner is retired, in his 70s and honest. He is the second owner and has had the car since 1992. The title is clear and in his possession. The vehicle is for local pick up only and is located in Norfork, Arkansas. Arrangement for transportation is the responsibility of the winning bidder. Four-wheel drive 1985 American Jeep Eagle is equipped with 258 6-cylinder, 3-Speed Automatic, Air Conditioning, Power Steering, and Power Brakes. Has new (6 weeks) alternator and battery. Tires are good. Engine does not use oil. All glass is good. Body is good. No rust-through anywhere. Interior is decent driver-quality. Has a great luggage holder and really-nice rear storage compartment.Comes with 2 extra wheels with gently-used studded mud and snow tires mounted. Need to knows: Emergency brake cable is broke. Ignition switch will turn and car will start without key. Has small trans leak (no damage, just gasket/seal leak). AC has not been charged in a long time. If not started for a few days gas will drain back out of carb. Driver’s door panel plastic has a break in it. Headliner glue has given out and headliner is sagging badly, tacks are holding it up out of the way, needs replaced/reglued (see last photo). Vehicle is sold as is, where is. PayPal deposit of $300 due within 24 hours of auction close. Balance due at pickup.
