1980 Mazda RX7. I am the second owner of the car which I purchased in 1988. This car has been garage kept since ownership. The car sat for almost 12 years when I decided to put back on the road. The motor has been rebuilt with rotor housing, lapped side housings, all new gaskets and seal including carbon apex seals. This motor has mild street porting and a light flywheel. The transmission was rebuild less than 2000 miles ago. Upgrades include a GSL rear disc brakes, Racing Beat(RB) suspension (springs, shocks, way bar), Holly carb and fuel pump, RB intake manifold and RB header. Also added was a RB "street" performance clutch/pressure plate. The gas tank has been also been restored. It also has upgrade 3-row radiator. Brake master cylinder, slave cylinder and starter are all new.The stock seat have been upgraded to Recaro seats (these were $2000, back in the day...). Also includes a rare smoked moon-roof. Note, the car is being sold with the 15x7 WEDs wheels (not the nock-off Panasports shown). I have include a picture of the wheel that will be installed when sold. The car was painted back in 1992 and has some scratches and the drivers door has some dings (see photos). As to the odometer reading, the stock speedometer originally went to 80MPH in 1980 and the cluster was replaced with a 120 MPH speedo. There were approxamatly 60K miles on this when it was replaced. I can provide more mileage details if needed but milage on the chassis is very close.Please contact me with any questions.On Feb-19-12 at 07:54:55 PST, seller added the following information: There appears to be a couple of questions on the wheels and tires. The car is being sold with the Wed Auto Bahn’s (see the last photo) and are extremely hard to find. The tires are Bridgestone Potenzas and are in fair shape but are old. The wheels and tire that are on the car are Panasports look-alikes - Rotas with Hanook Ventrus II and are brand new (0 miles). I would be willing to sell the wheels and tire separately from the price of the car for and additional $1000 if desired.
