Motivated Seller - Pontiac Chieftain - Partial Restore approx 5 years ago. This included new exterior paint, interior paint, door panels, seats, headliner, and more, exhaust, and mechanical work. Motor was originally a straight eight- it was removed and replaced with a 88 305 HO small block mated to a 700r4 transmission. Since the V8 conversion the power steering was unhooked. Car was gone thru mechanically - brakes all rebuilt and it stops hard and straight. Car has dummy lake side pipes and a nice DMH electric exhaust cut out for push button open pipes. New electric wipers instead of vacum operated. It's a good driver condition car with some paint chips and blemishes but it looks great. The windows are all working and roll up and down easily - there is some minor frosting around the windshield but it doesn't affect driving. The car has no rust issues and is solid in the trunk and all underneath; actually its very clean for its age. The cars speedometer, gas gauge and brake lights are not working.. I still drive it all the time. It's a reliable car and a pleasure to drive. I'm after a side by side for the family. Such as a rhino, razr, commander, teryx.
