For sale is our 2000 Chevrolet Suburban LT. This truck is the same body style that ran through 2006, and we are the second owners (we have owned it for over 5 years). The truck currently has approximately 172k miles and needs nothing. It is my wife's daily driver, and the only reason that we are downsizing is because she is doing more driving and doesn't need all of the space. The truck was loaded from the factory, and I have not seen another 2000 with the options that this truck has. The exterior is gold (I believe they call it sunset goldmist metallic or something like that), and the interior is leather with two tone tan. The truck has "quad seating" with four factory captains chairs ion the front and the third row bench seat in the back. The truck had ALL available options for 2000, including the power moonroof, power/heatered memory seats, front console, built in garage door transmitters, front and rear climate control, autoride, and the premium audio. The truck has the factory towing package, but has only been used for towing about 8 times, and each time just for a very short run. Since we have had it, the audio was further upgraded to a double-din JVC head unit with bluetooth (with hands free cell phone), USB, and IPOD control capabilities. All of the speakers have been upgraded (SONY/PIONEER), and the stereo sound phenomenal. The truck also has an aftermarket 14" flat panel drop-down TV in the back for the kids, with a DVD player built into the console (where the factory DVD player was originally). The truck has a hard-wired backup camera which is a must for anyone with kids. Also, the headlights have been upgraded to HID (great for night driving), and the exhaust system is a fully stainless-steel Magnaflow cat-back system that has a very low tone to it, but that is still very civil and not loud at all. The truck is in very good condition for its age. It has a couple of minor parking lot dents and dings, with the only notable dent being in the front passenger door from a high curb (noticeable if you are looking for it). Otherwise, the paint is glossy and all original. The truck has updated OEM GM rims (off of a 2008 Tahoe) and looks like a much newer vehicle. Mechanically the truck has always been fully maintained. The oil has been changed with semi-synthetic every 3k miles, and the truck runs and drives perfect! The only way to appreciated just how great the truck runs is to test drive it! The truck does have the notorious tick that these trucks all had from the factory (you can google - "GM piston slap" - it was a known condition that had no adverse effect on the engine - they just tick for about 15 seconds when started dead cold - and then they don't do it again for the rest of the day). I stated earlier, the truck is in daily use and needs nothing! There are no warning lights on, and all systems work as they should!
