No Reserve Auction Up for auction is a very nice 1955 Chevy Cameo trimmed and painted to look more like a 1957. The Cameo is about 6 years off a complete restoration. While the restoration was not a professional job, it was completed by a very competent owner of the truck. The truck has been driven less than 2000 miles since the resoration was completed. The truck has been warehouse stored since the restoration. The restoration consisted of new red paint with white trim. Most of the chrome trim was rechromed including the front grill and bumper, the hood emblem, bed trim, rear bumperetts, and tail lights. New front singal lights, new backup lights, new license plate lights and new dome light. While this truck was originally a six cyl, a rebuilt 350 V8 has been installed and runs great. Also has rebuilt 350 automatic transmission. A compete new wiring harness was installed and prewired for an AC unit (an AC engine mount bracket is included). The inside of the cab was completely repainted and new upholstery wsa installed. New headliner, sun visors, seat covers and new red carpet. Bed boards were refinished and stainless steel bed stripes installed. A new heater motor was installed but vent controllers still need to be hooked up. New billet gauges have been installed. The wheels and tires are in good condition. The engine compartment looks good and was refinished when the restoration was done. This is well running good example of the Chevey Cameo. There aren't many of these trucks remaining.
