Here is a fine example of a 1963 Buick Electra 225 that is pretty much all original! I am helping a buddy sell this car for the owner. I believe they bought this car new back in 63'. Unfortunately, the old man passed and his widow no longer drives it. It's still registered and insured! My buddy knew the old man real well and he really loved this car. You can tell by just looking at the interior. It even has the tag from the factory under the dash for the owner to remove. It's still hanging there, I took a photo of it. Of course this car does need a few things...But not much! Door seals and trunk seals could use replacing. The fan clutch needs a replacement. The water pump should be resealed. It has a bolt sticking out of it they seems to be frozen it place. It does not leak and the pump still works. It will just take some patience, penetrant, and probably some heat. The exhaust brackets needs replacement. I just wired it up to run it around the yard a bit. Also, I found that the window wiper motor sticks on. The engine in this car sounds real good! It has the 401 nailhead motor. The Wildcat air filter cleaner is just for show. This is one non-original part. At least it's Buick. This engine is very powerful and has loads of torque. Knowing what I did of the old man, this motor is ready to run and run and run. If you didn't want to ship this car, you could drive it. I can help you with the fan clutch but, you are on your own with the water pump. I trust it and I wouldn't deal with it until you get it home. Also, I will drive this car to you, if you live in the country, pay for gas, and buy me a flight home; I deliver it. If you want to ship it. that's up to you. I will be available to meet the driver and load it. A deposit of $500 via Paypal is required and it needs to be paid within 72 hours of the auction ending. We can store the car for 2-3 weeks.
