I have a 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse Turbo. I have went through this car from top to bottom and did the best I could to make it a very nice reliable car. The car has new brakes, front struts, lower control arms, sway bar links, c/v axles and a alignment. The car had a lowering kit that was on it when we got the car. Tires are in great shape and have good wear pattern on them. Rears 7/32 and front 8/32 tread. The BBS wheels are in very good shape. The car has new pistons, rings, bearings and the bore is .040 over with stock compression and no other modification unless they were done previously to the head that was rebuilt for the previous owner. I replaced the timing belt water pump and outer belts. Clutch appeared to be about 80-90% so I didn't do anything with it as it worked very well. I replaced the clutch and brake master cylinders as well as the clutch slave cylinder. It has a five speed manual trans and it shifts nicely. There was an after market adjustable waist gate for the turbo that was put on and is running at 15lbs of boost. The body of the car is very clean for the age of the car with has one rust spot as shown in the picture on the right quarter panel and one spot on the front of the hood. Front bumper and valance have some small defects and cracks with a some cracks in the plastic of the grill. Under side of the car is very clean and shows no signs of rust through that we can see. The car looks very nice, has good color and shine but if you look close up it has had some paint work done on it here and there and has it share of in imperfections but has some clear cote issues were it is peeling in some areas and may need to be repainted. Oh, did I say this car moves? The speedometer says 14610 but has a digit for the one hundred thousand so the speedo head was replaced or the last digit does not work. Interior is in very good shape but has some wear and tear on it with an aftermarket Gauge set installed on the dash. Car drives nice and straight down the road. Ok with all this said, it is a used car and its not perfect. Sometimes when you start the car cold the power steering makes some noise but goes away after a couple minutes. I wasn't to concerned with that as it works well and don't seem to affect anything. If you don't like the noise you can always replace the pump. I have been a mechanic for 32 years and have sold a few cars on here with good feedback and I always try to be as honest as I can be. This car has a high retail on NADA of 4200.00 in good condition. I have a lot in this car and I am not going to give it away but it will be a good deal for someone. If you have questions please call. 815-501-8724 Oh!
