Vehicle Detail

This gorgeous traffic stopping Triumph Bobber was built by TT Cycles ( www.ttcycles.net) , a well known builder of some of the most beautiful one off Triumph customs in the USA. The bike was built about two years ago and has only logged around 300 miles since completion. The bike is pictured on their web site under "New Customs". Today, the bike remains in the same perfect condition as the day that it was finished. It is a matching numbers 1970 Daytona 500cc with a hardtail that has been built with many custom hand made pieces specifically for this bike. The bike started off as a low mileage machine which had sat for many years in a garage. The motor was gone through and the only thing that needed attention was the top end.. Everything that needed reparing was repaired. Anything that needed replacing was replaced. Only the best quality UK made parts were used which is the policy of TT Cycles. The amal carbs were rebuilt and the engine covers were beautifully polished. The front wheel is rebuilt with a 19" UK chrome rim with Buchanen stainless spokes and Avon Speedmaster tire. The rear wheel has a chrome HD style rim with Buchanen stainless steel spokes and a Shinko Speed Grip style tire. The front end is rebuilt with new UK made fork tubes, fork seal holders, fork seals, gaiters, bushings, stainless top tube nuts and a stainless fork stem nut. Some of the other new parts used on the bike include, TT Cycles Custom Forward Controlls, fender and stuts, fuel tank, levers, throttle, all cables, Ferodo Brakes, UK made high pipes with brass tips and custom made heat shields, finned exhaust clips, points cover, ss allen cover screws, oil tank cap, petcock, gas cap, fuel filter, ignition switch and mount tab, brake light switch, plug wires, seat springs, custom made leather solo seat, Bates style headlight and mount, custom made battery box and new battery, kickstand and spring, kickstart lever and pedal rubber, axle adjusters, K&N breather filter, drive chain(correct narrow Brit style), brass patent plate, Boyer electronic ignition, Tympanium regulator, 6 volt coils, Timken tapered bearing conversion for the steering head and of course all new beautifully done wiring . The bike is painted with Dupont Hot Hues Hot Rod Satin Black which is a urethane paint which is not damaged by a gas spill while fueling. The graphics and pinstriping were all done by the great GW Ross. The bike also features some tasteful brass plating on the oil tank, handle bar risers, custom made fender struts, headlight trim ring, brake stay and seat springs. The brass plating is laquered to prevent tarnishing. No expense was spared on this bike and I have the receipt for the build from TT Cycles. The bike runs great and is a fun and comfortable ride. I am selling it because it is just a little too young for my old bones. This bike will be great addition to someone's collection for show or cruise. I am selling with no reserve because I have confidence that there are people out there that will truly appreciate a high quality genuine piece of motorcycle art. Bike has a clean open NJ Title.
