1998 Chevy Astro Cargo I bought this van a year ago when I bought it it had 66k on it the seller screwed me the motor blew after 6 months when we got the engine out a machanic I know said motor had at least 160,000 I think this van only had 66k but they took the motor and trans out of a older van. So after we put a new motor in the trans blew so now I have over $9,500.00 in this van. Somebody is going to have a AWESOME little van BTW this motor was bought from Carolina Engines WITH A 60 MONTH 100,000 MILE WARRENTY There is 4 years 6 months and 86,000 miles left on warrenty what used van are you going to get a warrenty like this on the trans was just done by a shop in Valpo IN I have ALL PAPER WORK ON THE MOTOR and all contact info on the guy who did the trans there is a one year warrenty on that i paid ................................$5,500.00 engine with warrenty.........$1,721.00 Transmission.....................$800.00 misc ...................................$1,400.00 misc. New brakes all the way around, new air conditioning condenser, lines, rad. cooler, and pump.new innerstate bat. new speckers for radio this van has all the shelves, cabinets, a game box, and a cool power inverter witch is nice to have call with any details my name is Bill 708-516-2455 On Jan-29-12 at 19:54:21 PST, seller added the following information: I just looked at the listing and realize my pictures suck I will clean out the van and take some better pictures tomorrow. also my reason for selling is simple. MPG it only gets about 17-18 mpg and my truck gets 19-20 . When I originally bought it I thought it would get about 22-24 mpg small van and all but don't let ANYONE tell you different these vans only get about 17-18 a couple people said I only get that cause it has the ladder racks. Also selling because the fact that this van has a NEW motor and trans I figured I will be able to get a little more for it. Warrenty is nice. Also look up Carolina Engines by far the best OEM motor company out there the guys there are great my uncle bought a motor from them 6 years ago he has over 130,000 miles on his car, not ONE problem. He was the one that told me to get a motor from them. After him refurring them I looked them up, there motors are second to none check them out THOUSANDS of happy clients. The motor purrs. I have ALL paper work on the new stuff. Anybody can come out a take the van for a ride get it inspected what ever.
