Vehicle Detail
This is a 2000 Saab 9-5. I recently acquired it from a friend. It was smoking and needed a new turbo. A brand new turbocharger was installed along with a new timing belt kit that includes the belt and idler pulleys. Oil pan was removed cleaned and reinstalled. Many gaskets were replaced at the time of service. The water pump was also done at the same time. It runs great, very smooth and quiet. It also drives nice and the alignment is straight. Brakes are smooth too. New heater bypass valve. It has a few imperfections, some paint chipping on the rear bumper and a small crack in the front bumper. The only minor problem with the car is that it has dual climate control and the driver side blend door is broken. You can still change from hot to cold but you have to stick your hand under the dash and turn it from hot to cold manually which is easly done. Could be fixed by a shop but never bothered me. My other saab is the same way I just change it once a year when the seasons change. The ac is cold and everything else works except for a few pixels out the sid display. Its a beautiful car and with the recent repairs it should last another 100k miles with just maintenance. Oil and coolant were changed and this car is mechanically in top knotch condition. All work done by myself, an ase certified mechanic with emissions and inspection licenses. The car should pass inspection with no problem, check engine light off and no other dash lights. Tires in front are around 60-75% and rear tires around 30%. The front brake pads were recently done but the rear pads will need to be done in 5000 miles or less. Thanks and good luck. Jim 7179518744
