1971 Chevrolet Chevelle malibu 2 door PROJECT. This is a running and driving project vehicle that needs restoration. Fix the leak at the radiator (either radiator itself or upper radiator hose) service brakes (drum brakes all around), exhaust leak (rotted collectors, and worn header to block gaskets) , cracked (leaking) windshield, and replace drivers front floorpan and its ready to be driven as you restore it. It has a 305ci, 5.0 g-series small block chevy motor with an aluminum edelbrock intake and carburetor, headers, dual exhaust, stock auto trans and stock 10 bolt rear. Has bubbling and rust here and there, a bit at bottom of drivers fender, one corner of each door, drip rails, and quarters (just above rear bumper). rust hole (about the size of half dollar) and some rot on lower drivers quarter. rotted lower passenger fender. paint fading a bit on roof. Rockers, rear floor pans, firewall, roof, pillars, and trunk appear to be in good shape. passengers side floorpan replaced some time ago. (amature work). 14" cragars with nice tires. Scratches, dings and dents here and there (please refer to pics). Interior appears to have seen some work, but remains unfinished. Newer seat covers (front and rear) in very nice shape, interior door and quarter panels appear to be new replacements, but should be reinstalled (using the same panels, just done right). most door hardware missing. car originally olive in and out. Dash/ door handles painted black from original olive. dash upper padding missing screws so it just sits on the dash and the far end of the dash (on the passenger side) needs minor repair as its cracked and screwed through (see pic)). headline looks nice. although both quarters need some attention, I dont believe either warrants replacement. I do have replacement OEM fenders professionally (that means I didn't do it) repaired for sale at $250 each. factory OEM steel dome hood (just like cowl induction but no flap) for sale at $250 In dash cd player (its there, but dont know if it works) has a remote. Glove compartment door needs replacement. Air shock hoses loose behind rear license plate and need to be cleaned up. Although the pics pretty much sum it up, Im putting it all out there as major, minor, or petty as it may sound. For those of you not able to come down and see it, I want to be as thorough as i would want someone to be for me. Nothing to hide here, this is a project car and is being sold as that. I would much prefer to sell outright but am not beyond entertaining trades or trades + cash.
