1966 Triumph Tiger

For sale is a 1966 Triumph Tiger in very good shape. This is basically the same bike as the one McQueen rode in the "Great Escape" movie. It has 13521 miles. I just moved. I need to clean up my garage and this is not the kind of bike I can ride in Boston. I bought this bike last year and had the Triumph dealership tune it up (clean carburators, valve adjust, oil change...). Also added brand new air filters and gas filters. The bike starts and runs fine. No rust and very glossy paint. Pay attention to: There are a few scratches on the light (see picture). The tires need to be replaced. The battery needs to be recharged. This is a kick start only bike with the shift on the right side and brake on left. Also, the previous owner had it registered as a 1969 Bonneville and I did not bother to change that. The title is clean, under my name, but it is for a 1969 Bonneville. The bike is really a 1966 Tiger as you can check from Triumph factory listings. The gas tank is also from a Bonneville. I do not ship but will assist in the pick up. For a mileage fee, I could also trailer the bike to a "reasonable" distance from ZIP 01742. The bike is sold as is, no warranty. Please email me.
