For sale is a 1972 International Scout. This vehicle is in reasonably good condition as can be seen from the pictures. The front windshield is cracked. Other than that, the body is in reasonable condition and the vehicle has not been in any known accidents. The vehicle is a cream color with a dark green top. I'm assuming that the paint is original but don't know for sure - It has not been painted recently in any case. This vehicle was running, but has been sitting for just over a year, so please consider that in your bidding. I have listed the odometer reading as "122,346", as I believe that is actually correct. The odometer in the vehicle, however, actually reads "22,346". I believe it has turned over once. The engine is an 8-cylinder. I am not sure of the exact size of the engine. Here is the information that I have: It says that it is certified net 180 HP at 4400 RPM, and is certified gross 193.1 HP at 4400 RPM. The transmission is a manual. We believe that all the equipment on the vehicle is original, however, I can't be 100% certain that something wasn't upgraded or replaced at some point. We do believe that the radio is after-market. The undercarriage appears to be in good condition. While there is rust, it all appears to be superficial in nature. We believe this vehicle has been in Colorado for all of it's life. We generally do not have rust problems with vehicles here because of the relatively dry climate. If you are the winning bidder, you will need to arrange for pickup or shipping for this vehicle - I am firm on this - Please do not ask otherwise. The vehicle is located in Alamosa, Colorado. While getting it running again should not be very difficult, for purposes of this auction I would assume that you will need to either trailer or tow it to get it to where ever you may want it to go. This vehicle has a clear title, however, is not currently licensed, so you will need to consider that in transporting it.
