This 1959 Impala Convertible has been in my garage for the last 20 years, thought we would get around to restoring it, but I do not think that is going to happen. It is all original, factory red car, with red interior, its aV8 automatic, power steering. Please read the description carefully, then read it again. This car needs total restoration, the frame is excellent, the trunk floor is good, the passenger compartment floors are gone, the outer body is pretty solid. We have very nice replacement fenders for the front. We had the engine running, and it ran well, I do believe it is the original engine and transmission. The doors open and close well, the cowl and windshield are in good condition, as is the engine compartment. The winning bidder will have the option to buy the loaded 1959 Chevrolet wagon that we bought as a parts car. The wagon is equipped with a rebuilt FACTORY 348V8 Tri Power, with correct Air cleaner, and Facrory A/C, also it has power windows, seat, and many other parts. This wagon is loaded, and there are plenty of parts for 1959 Chevrolets. I did however make one mistake in my listing of the 59, it does not have power steering, it has manual steering and brakes, it is an automatic, with clock and power top, and wiper washer. I have added the pictures to the listing, the top frame is in good condition, with some minor rust in the header, it still has fluid in the system so i could not lift it all the way up, there are some pieces of cracked side glass, i think one quarter window, and the passenger side door glass, but for a winning restoration, im sure a glass kit will be in store for the car, thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
