Vehicle Detail
This 1959 Impala Convertible, has been stored since the early 70's, I purchased it in 1993, and have had it in storage since, I looked for the title today, and found paperwork that I received when I purchased the car 20 years ago, it is from New York state, if this is usable as a title I am not sure, this will come with the car and a bill of sale, from me as legal owner of the Ragtop This Chevrolet convertible is a factory white car, w/red interior, and a V8, the title and tags are on the car, the floors are bad, yes bad, its a 59 Chevrolet after all. The Bel Air fenders that are on the car have been for years, they are solid, there is Impala trim for one of them. The engine is in the car, the transmission is in the trunk, with the radiator and the shroud, the rest of the car is complete, good seats and top frame. The well and around the pinch molding for the top is good, there is a cracked side glass, the windshield and quarter windows are good. We are selling to make some room. as you can see from the garage. The frame is solid, and all convertible parts are intact. I collected several 59 Chevrolets but now its time for them to go. I have my other one listed here on Ebay as well. A $1000.00 paypal deposit is required within 24 hrs of auction end, and payment is required within 5 days of auction close. Please do not bid if you cannot complete the transaction, its only costs me money, No 0 or Neg feedback bids will be accepted, and be advised this Chevrolet is being sold as is , no warranty either express or implied.. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, Thanks and good luck bidding. Also remember this 59 Chevrolet has the typical 1959 Impala rust, so it does require total restoration, but then again, I am sure they are not building them anymore. Style:59-1867, Body LA23927, Trim 874, Paint 936. Thanks and good luck bidding. On Dec-13-11 at 20:44:34 PST, seller added the following information: Another note about the paperwork that i have for the Impala convertible, when I bought it, August 16, 1993, the car was originally from Stamford New York, have the name of gentleman I bought it from, and previous owner. Since there are no titles for this vintage automobile in the State of New York, I have an authorized, notorized statement from seller, in NY, and a form DTF-802, from New York for transfer, not sure if this it what is needed to obtain reg and title in state that Chevrolet may go to. This is a real convertible, all convertible parts are very good, and original. We have many other parts that will be made available to winning bidder. THIS AUCTION IS FOR THIS CONVERTIBLE ONLY, NOT ANY EXTRA PARTS NOT SEEN IN THIS POSTING. THANKS FOR LOOKING
