Greetings Everyone I have a 1969-1970 Convertible MustangI say 1969-1970 is because, this car was an experiment car meaning the parts between the years 1969-1970 were interchangeable for example the tail lights are 1970 that have been put on a 1969 body, other example is the window mechanics for each door, the 1970 version had a staple type of bracket to hold the window the 1969 had brackets that had to be glued on, this car has brackets that are attached to a track inside both doors no staple bracket, so yes this car is a mix of 1969-1970. I would like to sell it by the end of the month The value of the car has been estimated at $12,000 dollars $12,000 dollars is a lot of money, the reason for such a high price is the fact these cars are rare and to add more it's a convertible, which makes it very rare. If this car were in mint condition it could easily go for $30,000+.. however that all being said I am more than willing to go below the asking price. The body of the car is in good condition, there is one issue on the front fender of the passenger side near the hood of the car, it's starting to come apart.The interior needs work, however I did put in a new dashboard, new door panels, as well I have new carpet to replace the old carpet in a box in the backseat of the car. The engine has 312,981, it hasn't been driven for a long distance for a quite a while. It's a rebuilt engine and was installed back in 2000. It's a 302 V8. I put in a new radiator back in December of 2008. Two years ago I had some major front end work done on it. Only driving I've done with it, has just been around town here in El Cerrito/Richmond Area, here in Northern California.
