Antique 1961 Pontiac Tempest which has been stored for approximately the last 25 years. Rare "Slant 4" engine known to Pontiac Tempests. My grandmother gave me this car after my grandfather passed away and I never drove it more than around the block. When gifted, I titled this as a 1962 Tempest as that is what my grandmother believed it to be. In researching to get ready to sell, I have found that this car is a 1961. The last time the car ran was 5 years ago when I moved storage units. The car does not currently run though I have been advised that if the points were sanded it should start. I cannot guarantee this. The car has low miles, little rust and a new battery. There is paint chipping off of the car on the back end under the trunk. The hubcaps do not match and the car is missing the cover for the glove box. It has a unique "Pontiac Tempest" tissue box installed under the radio. The interior is mint with the exception of the driver's and passenger's metal carpet holders from under the doors. These have rusted and broken. Looking to sell it so it does not spend the next 25 years in storage too. Sold as is with no warranties or returns. Car located in Northern Wisconsin and buyer will need to pay for and arrange shipping.
