I have a rare 1951 Dodge b3d pilothouse 5 window pickup, with a SUPERCHARGED 305 sbc, aluminum procomp 2.05 heads, weiand 144 blower, crower 00980 supercharger cam, 3500 stall, carter 140gph high flow fuel pump, new B&M th350 tranny, headers, airbag suspension, power steering, power disc brakes, all the lights/wipers/heater work, $1500 stereo system with kicker solobaric up front and two 6x9's behind the seat, two kicker amps mounted under the seat, richmond 3.73 gears, hei ignition, all new glass ($2000) windows go up and down like new, good wood in the bed with spray on bedliner on sides, nice fat 295 tires in the rear, body great, paint very good. Seat is covered in black lamb skin some of the pics are before the covers. Truck is very fast I'm running a pulley giving around 7-8 lbs of boost now (around 450-500 horsepower) have pulley for 11-12 lbs of boost (525-575 horsepower). I dont think there is another one supercharged in the country. I would drive this anywhere. With the power steering and the airbag suspension it's like driving a cadillac, a really fast cadillac. Wooden bedrails are removable, I like them some people don't. SUMMARY THE BAD: -passenger interior door handle is missing, I just move the window crank back and forth, it fits on both. -drivers side header collector comes out at a weird angle and the flex pipe coming off it hangs low, it bottoms out over large bumps and has a crack in it now. Could use some welding attention to get the exhaust routed where it would be out of the way. - no headliner -haven't installed the passenger side door lock yet, the hole is there and you can lock it from the inside and use a screwdriver to lock and unlock it from the outside. THE GOOD: -supercharged engine with aluminum heads and matching supercharger cam runs awesome!! - power disc brake conversion -power steering conversion - body and paint are very good for an old truck, there is a dent just below the middle back window, and some cracking on the bed -adjustable airbag suspension rides like a cadillac -stereo system sound great - new tranny, new 3500 stall, and new richmond 3.73 gears -It's a Dodge b3d (that is the 1 ton, which is very rare) with the wheel base shortened like the 1/2 ton which gives it a more bullnose stout look than normal 1/2 tons -This truck doesn't need anything, you can drive it as is anywhere!!!
