If you are looking for a classic car to drive or turn into a street rod, you need to look no further. This rare Buick is ready for either. The engine is the original straight eight. Engine was rebuilt and starts right up and runs great. There is no smoke and no leaks. The transmission is three on the tree manual. The clutch is great and the car shifts just fine. The exhaust is new front to back. Tires are new with new center caps and trim rings. The body and interior underwent restoration in the 1980’s. The body is very solid and the frame and suspension is still original. The floors were repaired. From that restoration the paint remains in good shape. Not perfect but certainly presentable as a driver. The trim is in very good shape. Unfortunately, the bumpers and grill were painted rather than re-chromed. Grill is solid and bumpers are solid and straight but to be show they will need to be re-chromed. The glass was all replaced at that point and remains great. As shown, the car has removable skirts. The interior was slightly modified with the seat and seatbelts. Headliner and carpet is great. The trunk was lined and upholstered and looks great. The electrical remains 6 volt and seems to work great. The battery is new. The car has a few unique items such as a Philco remote radio and two heaters. One heater is under the dash and one under the seat. A few extras come with the car such as some additional window cranks and tail light lenses. Please e-mail any questions or call 517 750-7083. You already have bought it! Balance is due within 7 days of auction close. For the balance due, we will only accept cash ON DELIVERY (in person) or a certified check.
