Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1988 Mazda B-2200 SE-5. I purchase this truck from a very nice gentleman from Oregon in September 2011 and had it shipped to Texas right away after purchase with the intention of keeping it forever to take my Golden Retrievers to the ranch. When it arrived I was amazed by its original condition. This truck was never used as a "truck". It is a two owners vehicle (the original owner & me) and as far as I know was bought new in California and spent its entire life in Grants Pass, Oregon either garaged or towed by a motor home. It has 84,567 original miles. The interior is in amazing, almost in mint condition. Dash, seats, carpets, headliner, door panels are in excellent condition. I installed seat covers and bought a set of rubber floor mats as soon as the truck arrived. Everything is original except the radio which was installed in 1992 (receipt will be included). No holes were cut anywhere to install any speakers, maybe still have the original ones. Everything works perfect including A/C (Ice Cold) and Heater (Super Hot). All light, warning chimes, switches, etc, works perfect. No "check engine" or any other lights are on. The original 2.2 liter engine runs very strong. No trouble doing 70 down the interstate. Steers, brakes and handles nicely. She starts right away even in the low 30's with no problems. Has 4 almost brand new Toyo tires. The only thing I've noticed is that the original shock absorbers are a little spongy and has a knocking sound in the back when you brake, not sure if it's a U-Joint or the driveshaft coupling. Since truck was towed by a motorhome has a drive shaft coupling mechanism to disconect the driveshaft that I've never tried to use (Don't know anything about it). It has a button on the right side of the driver's seat that I think that you pull forward...the original instructions on how to use it are present and will be included. Truck runs super good, I'll not be afraid to take it cross country, but want to give you as much information (good & bad) as I can. The exterior is in amazing condition also. The paint shines like the day it left the showroom. The Mazda SE-5 decals are present and looks great. The "Mazda" emblem in the center caps were faded so I installed a NOS set of emblems in all four center caps. It seems that the lower part of the right side extended cab and the right fender below the stripe were painted at some point. It has some chips and scratches that I touched up myself and you can barely see them. The original jack, handle, lug wrench and spare tire are present and in unused condition. I have no space in my garage so the truck is always covered with a custom fit all weather cover that I'll include to the new owner, if the truck is sold. I tried to put as much informations as possible (good & bad) but if I forgot something, please ask. I'll respond honestly and as soon as I can. I'm an Ebay Buyer and Seller and an honest and serious person (check my feedbacks). Please, keep in mind that I don't have time to waste so if you are not interested in the truck, do not have the funds to pay for it, or have doubts about the truck or myself, please don't bid on the truck and don't waste your time and make me waste mine either. The reason why I'm selling my truck is because my wife was diagnosed with a serious condition that requires treatment and I'm creating a savings account for near future medical expenses and besides, now I have less time to enjoy my cars. If you have less that 10 feedbacks you need to have a Paypal account and need to contact me before bidding or I'll cancel your bid. Also don't try to lowball me. Please, don't contact me with offers, trades or anything like that since I'm not interested. I think that I set a fair price for the truck, and besides I don't like anybody putting a price on the things I owe. I'd rather keep it as a grocery getter before giving her away. I don't need the money and I have plenty of space. I don't want to be rude, just want you to know that this auction is not a game and I'm not into games either. I can't offer any warranties, so there's no warranty written or implied and the truck is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. I'm also selling my 1964 Chevrolet Nova in the same condition Item # 300650495545. Payment:$500.00 non refundable deposit via Paypal withing 24 hours of auction end or car will be relisted. The remaining balance within 5 days of auction end. Bank certified check preferred. No money orders, foreign, or third party checks. With that being said, thank you for taking the time to look at my truck and hope you enjoy the pictures.
