This is my 1978 Volkswagen Bus / Camper Van. The bus has 50,708 miles on it. It has 4 cylinder 2000 cc fuel injected motor and manual transmission. Bus has brand new tires with less than 100 miles on them all the way around and a matching new spare tire. I purchased this vehicle this past summer with the intentions of restoring it to new condition but other circumstances have left me with no option but to sell the bus. The bus has current California Smog Emissions and is currently licensed in California thru December of 2012. Recent tune up was done with new coil, points, condenser, rotor and plugs and oil change and runs and drives great. Front floor panels , rear panels, etc are all rust free. The vehicle has damage to the drivers side midway back where the bondo needs replaced from where someone had kicked it in and it had to be fixed, as you can see in the attached picture. The bus could then use a new paint job and be in like new conditon on the outside. The inside front seats are in excellent condition with no holes or tears. The dash and all glass and seals are in excellent condition. The front floor mat is like new condition. The rear seat cushions and bed cushion are rough and need recovered. The vinyl is comming off of two of the interior panels in the back and needs reaffixed or replaced. The door panels are all in excellent condition. The headliner is in good condition with no holes, rips or tears. All lights , turnsignals, and dash lights work as they should. Brakes and parking brake are in excellent conditon and were checked when the tune up was done last month. The previous owner had this bus for over 20 years and hardly ever drove it. I have put about 8,000 miles on it since I purchased it and would not be afraid to jump in it and drive it all the way across country tonight. It runs and drives great. I am also including some original vw material that I bought that is shown in the pictures that I was going to use to have the cushions recovered in and two studded snow tires that will go with the vehicle. Winning Bidder will be required to deposit $ 500.00 thru pay pal immediately at auction end with remainder due within 5 days of auction end. Vehicle will be available to pick up at my residence in California or can be delivered anywhere in the United States by seperate arrangement and for a seperate fee.
