You are bidding on my 1985 M1008 CUCV truck. The VIN is 1GCGD34JXFF418420. This vehicle is equipped as follows: 4x4, 1 ¼ ton capacity, EXCELLENT running 6.2 diesel motor, TH400 HD 3 speed automatic transmission, 4:56 gears, Dana 60 front axle, Corporate rear diff, dual exhaust, NP208 transfer case, military tie downs (rear), NATO slave receptacle for jump starting, dual batteries, military tactical markings, front lock outs, class III receiver, wiring for trailer (not tested) and full military camo paint. Seat and dash pad look like new—no cracks or tears. I converted this truck from a 24 volt system to a 12 volt system—less maintenance and if maintenance is required, it is MUCH cheaper. All tires NEAR 90%. ALL fluids are NEW! Coolant is good to -40 degrees. Additionally, the following are NEW: starter, both batteries, battery clamps, wipers, oil and filter, trans filter, transmission modulator, P/S hose. I installed a manual glow plug “push button”--the original glow plug relay was inop--my button works flawlessly! Glass is good (except driver door wing)--windows roll up and down as they are supposed to. Speedo reflects 5160 miles, however, speedo is inop, so miles are unknown. Deficiencies: Battery gage inop (my multimeter reflects charging at 14-14.8 volts when running), driver door wing broke, speedo inop, r/f signal lense has dime sized hole, black outs inop. Corrosion: both cab corners (minimal for truck this age). Frame, bed floor and driveline are solid. This vehicle has some scratches and light dents typical of a military vehicle of this age, but overall it is in pretty good condition. This truck runs, shifts, drives and stops like it is supposed to --should be able to be driven anywhere. Smokes some on start up, but quits after a bit of warming.
