Offered for sale is a gorgeous 1956 Studebaker President. This car is in wonderful condition, as it is a California car that is very solid with no rust. It was built in the Los Angles plant, which closed June 8, 1956, which makes this a very rare car indeed. This exceptional example has the 289 V-8, and runs very well. In the pictures, the car is having its’ cooling system flushed and oil changed, getting it ready for the winter. I bought this car in Rancho Cordova, a suburb of Sacramento, in Northern California. Since May of 2011, the car has been in Saint Clair, MO, about 45 miles from Saint Louis. I have taken this car on numerous road trips; one such trip was to a car show in San Luis Obispo, from Sacramento, where it won Second Place. That trip was approximately 630 miles round trip, and the car performed flawlessly. This is a no excuses condition car, and would be a fine addition to your collection.
