That's right- an '86 Turbo! I bought this vehicle in 2005 and promptly decided to retrofit a T25 turbo to it! (it's ok- I'm an Aerospace Engineer, not some kid in his parent's garage) Longevity with a little extra power was my goal, and I have the boost limited to ~5 lbs, along with a DSM intercooler and blowoff valve. 295cc/min injectors (up from 210 stock), a tuned AFM, and a LED air fuel gauge ensure air/fuel ratios were acceptable. I have put ~65k on this setup, and it has been nothing but reliable. 34 mpg! Car is mechanically sound as well- when bought, and over the course of my 6 years of ownership I have replaced virtually every component liable to wear out at this age: including but not limited to shocks, struts, bushings, ball joints, clutch, brake pads, brake discs, brake calipers (rebuild), clutch and brake master, clutch slave, accessory belt, timing belt, belt tensioner, water pump, cam seals, alternator, battery, fuel pump (OEM Toyota!), wheel bearings, plus more. Nice Pioneer radio. NO dash cracks! Drawbacks: tires are in need of replacement, slight oil leak from distributor, and small exhaust leak. Selling because I am moving (cross country) and I can't take two vehicles with me. I will throw in a $150 fitted Noah car cover (back in 2005, now I see they are more than $250), a Haynes repair manual, a core alternator and distributor, and an ORIGINAL '86 owner's manual and owner's guide (look those up and see what they go for).
