Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1986 Chevy S10 2.8 V6 4x4 with 110,000 miles. I purchased this from a friend for a hunting truck; it was not used this hunting season so I have decided to sell it. This truck has had a lot of work done to it by me and some mechanics. I was really dumb on this truck and put way more money into it then what I should have. The state of Virginia requires an inspection on all vehicles to be road worthy. This has passed the inspection. Feel free to make offers. Also it is for sale locally and I will end auction early if right offer comes along. Here is what is new on this truck (really if you want to spend a little more money on this truck you can finish it easy). The truck does run and is drivable but once it leaves my possession it is your truck and has no warranty on it at all. Motor:Full exhaust (although the manifolds seal but they have been bolted to the Y pipe by all thread) - not done by me. EGR, TPS, throttle body rebuild kit, 02 sensor, radiator, heater core, Monroe shocks, thermostat, some vacuum lines and also had a remanufactured transmission put in it. New front and rear brakes also. The 4-wheel drive worked until I had the remanufactured transmission put in it. I am sure they unhooked something but I never took it back down there. The only other thing is that there is a hesitation in the motor sometimes and it will backfire out of the throttle body. I am not a mechanic but I really believe the timing is off a little. I don’t know how to set timing nor did I try. Body: New hood (although I dented it and tried to fix but not a solid job), new fenders, new inner fenders, new tailgate, new radiator support, new cab corners, new rocker panels, new grille, new headlight bezels and rings, new front bumper (with fog lights) and new rear bumper. The fog lights are wired into the switch above the headlight switch and wired to shut off if you forget and leave them on. This truck is full primer and no paint including door sills. A friend of mine owns a body shop and was going to paint it but again I am not spending more money on the truck. I also put in new turn signals and tail light housings. Also it has new corner lights and new mirrors. Tires have less than 400 miles on them. Interior: I pulled out the headliner and floor cover because I was going to buy new but never did. There is also a new Kenwood cd player/radio and speakers. The door panels are loose because I pulled them off to primer the truck. I have the new clips just haven’t worked on the truck anymore. It sits in the garage. Frame: There was surface rust on the frame but I took off the bed, cab and front clip to scrub with stuff and pressure washed the frame. We then painted the frame on all of the areas we could reach easily. The frame is very solid. I have the door panel clips and new door handles that will go with it also. I was trying to make this truck look nice because I am not a beater kind of person. I didn’t realize until my wife informed me that I have over $4000 in the truck. Almost all the parts came from LMC truck. I am sure I have missed a lot that I have done because it was torn down for three months while I worked on it at night. Also the truck doesn’t have A/C, heater only and vent only! Payment: I will require a $250 non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end. This is only to cover my fees and time. Rest is due at pick up cash only! No checks or cashier’s checks / money orders. Buyer is responsible for pickup; however, contact me before the auctions ends if you will need help getting this vehicle and we will see if we can work something out depending on your location, etc. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. On Jan-09-12 at 13:20:43 PST, seller added the following information: I just noticed that in the pictures of the front of the truck the hood looks like its popped up or not lined up. That's because I had popped the hood to take pictures it does close as it should. On Jan-10-12 at 10:03:20 PST, seller added the following information: I dont mind emails about what it takes to buy the truck. I am not giving out a price however you are more than welcome to make an offer and I will let you know. I will not negotiate so be sure it's your best offer or you can call me email us for a phone number. Thanks On Jan-11-12 at 05:59:25 PST, seller added the following information: I just seen the odometer check on the vehicle history report, when my wife went to get the title they had to put that on there it was beyond mechanical limits because there was a mark with a pen beside of the mileage. This is the actual mileage on the truck.
