Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1974 911 Porsche. Good Car, Excellent running condition. Engine has less than 1500 miles on an engine rebuild. Engine is a 2.7 CIS motor on a 7R Case. No pulled studs. Mahale Pistons and Cylinders. Stock cams were replaced with the 964 “E” profile cams, and pistons were custom cut to fit profile. Ignition system is solid state with and MSD ignition box and Performance wires. Transmission is a 5 speed that has been rebuilt. Lightweight Fidenza flywheel matched with a Sachs performance clutch. The Motor has the 911s heads, intakes and airbox. The exhaust has headers with a Bursh exhaust system. A fender mounted oil cooler from MOCAL and 930 oil port plugs which provide an increased flow of oil and reduced case foaming. Body has the ducktail and a custom nose from Fiberworks. Brakes are the stock “S” type with Hawk racing pads and steel braided lines. New suspension bushings for the front along with new Sport Koni’s on the Front and rear. Custom 3 point tower brace along with monoball strut housings and new Turbo tie rods. CV Joints and Rubber have been replaced as well. There are "Heat Sheets" installed and the headers are wrapped. So many other parts that have been replaced or rebuilt, too many to list. The car has been driven the way it was designed to be driven. Hard and fast. However, the car has not been abused. I am a PCA member and take good care of the car. I take this car to the track regularly and compete on Autocross courses. The car has its original low end gearing and it will pull strong to the red line. A real advantage in Autocrossing. The link below is the engine to the car. Just a 1 min clip. http://s660.photobucket.com/albums/uu329/radarrat/?action=view¤t=MyEngineSound.mp4 There is an Alpine AM/FM/CD with Sony speakers.... but believe me you will not even use it because you will be listening to the car and to busy driving. This car has the Weltmeister harness bar and racing belts installed in the car. At the moment the suspension is set to its firmest setting so the ride on the normal road is a little rough because the suspension is tight. The numbers one the side of the car are vinyl decals. There is no known rust on the car. The headlights have been replaced with modern lights and relays. Current tires on the car are Azenias that have just been shaved and balanced on cookie cutter wheels. Fuch wheels are available to put on the car if you want those instead as shown in the photos. Sport peddles are installed along with a new master cylinder and bronze bushings for the peddle assembly. Blue Racing fluid was just replaced in October. Known issues… The airbox fan doesn’t work…Im not sure why. There is a crack in the dash The drivers side window regulator is worn, and needs to be replaced. The sunroof motor is was extremely weak. I have operated it (back in 2003) but closed it and haven’t opened it since. If you buy this car and it is shipped you get the car only. If you come and pick it up, I will throw in all the spare parts, a set of SC fender flares and a BAE turbo kit for this model of engine. The car is currently legal to drive on the road.
