1966 fastback A-CODE numbers matching. 99% rust free, disk brakes, four speed, new 3.73 9 inch rear end, Shelby style traction bars, 1 inch front and rear sway bars with new shocks. One inch drop springs in the front. Deluxe Pony interior shows its age but is correct, seats have no tears. Motor is the numbers matching 289 block that has been stroked to 347 ci. Professionally machined by Baileys Machine in Mesa, AZ. Built for 400 HP. Headers, Flowmasters. Original floorpans, all lights, gauges work, handles and drives great. Emberglo paint is the rarest factory paint for 1966 and has only one coat. There is very little filler on this car. Early '66 model built on 10/15/65 in San Jose, CA. Not a Barret-Jackson quality car, but a good “10 footer” I have personally driven this car coast to coast with no trouble. It's an older restoration but just needs a good detailing. Paint has some stone chips but overall looks pretty good. I can store for up to 30 days after auction close.
