We're selling our 1976 International Harvester Scout Terra truck.We've had it for 7 years and put 2,300 miles on it after buying it from our town veterinarian. When we bought it, the mileage was 51,900. It currently has 54,200. It isn't used much...mostly for taking our dog to the park, or to the lake, and the occasional Home Depot trip. The Scout is powered by a 350 V8 with a 350 automatic transmission. It is a 2WD.Our vet said it was once a 4 cylinder 4WD diesel but had a V8 conversion done.It has always been a Nevada and Arizona truck. There is minimal rust with the surface rust on the bed being the worst.The truck has never been used for any off-road purposes.We've always had it serviced when necessary and it has just had a fresh oil change.At some time before we bought it, the interior had been reupholstered and an inexpensive black carpet installed. Both still look great.Since our ownership, we replaced the wheels with Cragar 15" gloss black wheels and Continental Cross Contact tires. Both have less than 1000 miles on them.The Kenwood cd/mp3 radio and speakers are an addition and we also replaced the battery and alternator about a year ago.The Scout runs fantastic with no problems at all and has plenty of power. It always starts and has been virtually trouble free for us.The engine bay and underside of the Scout are both very clean as well.The exterior is a cream color and was probably painted sometime in the 90's. It's not the prettiest paint job but we didn't mind for the purposes we used it.There is also a hard top for the cab which allows you to drive it year round but we mostly used it as a fun convertible cruiser.We are selling it by owner and have a clear Arizona title in hand showing 51,900 A box miles.If you have any questions, or would like to see it, I'd be happy to accommodate.
