Vehicle Detail
Putting up for SALE OR TRADE my 70' Mach 1, #'s matching, 351 Cleveland 'M' w/4bbl, 4spd trans, folding rear seat, original yellow, under 58K miles. I'm 3rd owner & had it since 1984. Put maybe 200 miles on it. Entire drivetrain & suspension where redone in the mid-late 80's, didnt need it, just what I do. A few upgrades where done like cam, headers, intake/ carb, gear drive, forged goodies, fully balanced, etc. 4 spd Top Loader was also rebuilt plus added racing clutch, 3 finger pressure plate, scattersheild & McLeod hydraulic throw-out bearing. Rear is original 9" rebuilt with new posi unit & 4.10 gears. Entire suspension was redone at the time as well. Has welded in subframe connectors & traction bars. A lot more but not going into great details in this posting. Interior was done at same time but now needs attention- age and a rodent have gotten to it, not terrible but needs a few things like headliner, door panels, carpet.... have some new parts (bumpers, valance, trim) for it, just have to find them. If you didn't already know, everything is available for this car. Had a fresh paint job before I got it but the body is starting to go. Last few years have really been rough as it wasn't garaged any more, just under a cover. Hadn't started it up regularly for the last 2 yrs cause gas tank went & didn't get around to replacing it, so it was a pain. has under 58K & if I say I put 200 miles the entire time I've owned it, I'm exaggerating. Never seen the track or raced on the street though that was my intention. Pulled it back into my garage 2 months ago to get her back to running condition, had to put a new starter, coil, wires, fuel pump, carburetor. Took the old tank, cut in half, flipped over & mounted a fuel cell in it. Primed the engine then fired it up, runs great- just regular gas & no tuning, chk out the video! Now I'm just cleaning it up, like wiring from the alarm, stereo system & others that i have no idea where it was going- been so long I cant remember. Hitting the rust spots with por-15 & priming. May not look pretty but it'll stop it from getting worse, has to go back out :-( bad areas are lower areas of doors, a-pillars, l/r inner well and fender flare, passenger floor small area, small area on frame by back of leaf springs, area in the trunk & the rest are very small areas in numerous locations. Drivers floor was replaced in 88' Passenger was solid- now has a rot hole bout 3"x10", rest is still good. Neglect due to my busy schedule & family are the reasons this car is where it is & I have come to realize I may not ever get to restoring this car as it deserves to be. I do great work so it does not intimidate me, but I am too busy doing customers cars to do my own, which is why I prefer trading for something I need. VIN# is 0T05M146788. The good is this car is a rare one, couple of patch panels & a descent paint job should bring $25k easy, go off on it & its a $45K++ car. check out this video I took when I first pulled it into the garage, cut & paste if the link doesn't work: Video www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGIw6FnX36A&feature=related looks different now cause of the primer spots and I may update this video if I get a chance. Will continue to work on it if I get some time to spare. I encourage SERIOUSLY interested people to come see it-11967, or get in touch with me for any other specific questions or pix, shoot me an email with your contact info & I will call, text, or email right back as you specify. Willing to cooperate with shipping & may even deliver for a fee to tri state area. Winning bidder should get in touch with me a.s.a.p. I do reserve the right to cancel auction if I sell it locally or trade it. I'm Serious so please, serious offers & people only!!! Not a fire sale!! Don't have to get rid of it and if I dont get at least $10k or a trade, I'll just keep it for another couple of decades for my grand kids. What I can use is a pick up truck, ext cab or crew cab or suburban type with any Duramax, Powerstroke Diesel 6.0, 6.4 or 6.7 or Cummins truck 03'+, etc... may consider a gas engine. An HHR SS or Cooper S, WRX wagon, or similar type sport hatch/wagons. Mileage is not so important nor mechanical issues, but will count towards my decision. May consider other toys as well, just send pix & some description. mail to dlordnmaster@aol.com or just respond to the ebay link
