This 1972 MGB was recently restored by Darrin's MG Service (Los Angeles) in 2011. Since restoration, the vehicle has been covered and garaged. The paint was restored to its original Tartan Red (the factory color), color sanded and clear coated. The paint looks wet, and is 100% blemish-free. Other exterior work completed includes: new chrome, new grill, exhaust tip, headlights, badges, seals and rubber throughout. The chrome wire wheels, although in excellent original condition, were cleaned and polished. The canvas top was pre-existing, but is in excellent condition. The interior is brand new, and features black leather with red piping that matches the paint. Also included are new carpets and mats throughout (as well as the trunk). The leather dash was recently conditioned, and the stereo was completely re-vamped, which includes a vintage style head-unit with iPod plug in. The speaker system is brand new, and crystal clear. The motor runs strong and smooth, and maintains good oil pressure. The gear box and transmission are mechanically sound, everything runs excellently. The engine compartment was completely cleaned and painted, and looks brand new. As mentioned above, this vehicle has always been covered and garaged (even before restoration), runs very well, and is perhaps the nicest MG in Los Angeles. Buyer assumes all shipping responsibility.
