Vehicle Detail
You are looking at an AWESOME CANDIDATE FOR A RESTORE, This truck is a very, very good running vehicle and has been maintained very well. There was a small spot of rust in the passenger floor board where the heater core had leaked down and rusted a hole. The spot was cut out and had some fresh metal welded in its place. There is no other place that the rust has gotten to. I am hesitant to say "Rust free" as there may be surface rust and that would be misleading. I will say it is "Cancer free" This Ol' Truck goes down the road great and feels very stout and solid while doing it. It just received a new heater core, water pump, valve cover gaskets and topped off all fluids in entire running gear. Tires are in great shape only having a few hundred miles on them. As you can see in the pictures, It has not been sitting in the garage it's whole life, It's been used but darn sure not used up. it will need a carpet kit, door panels, steering wheel, upholstery, grill, bumpers, body/paint and a new owner before it will ever be perfect. It is ready now to drive away and get started, It's brakes work fine (not including the park brake)but long story short....starts, runs and drives great and has no known problems with all good glass. has 3 fuel tanks from the factory as well as factory camper plug in. no a/c (sorry) but very well worth a restore or just drive it the way it is and leave it alone. It will surely be around for another 40 years. I am listing it with a very reasonable reserve and I am faithful that it will sell at auction end, So bid to win and you can have a piece of history to play with and make it your own. I do however reserve the right to end the auction at any time since I the vehicle is also listed elsewhere. it is being sold as is where is and it will be up to the buyer to transport it but I am willing to store it for up to thirty days free of charge as long as it is paid in full and funds have cleared. ask any and all questions prior to bidding as you are entering into a contract by placing a bid. I failed to mention P/S, P/B and new front driveline and I am adding a lot of pics.On Jan-09-12 at 12:37:07 PST, seller added the following information: I thought I would just add to the description. I found a set of door panels, Front bumper with push bumpers and a sterring wheel, All stock and installed them in the truck. they are getting tough to find and I had all of the parts on a 2wd that the transmission went out on. Floor rubber was no good in it so it will still need that.
