Vehicle Detail

Hi, Thanks for checking out my auction, I try to be as honest in my description and history as possible, let me start off with saying I would rather not sell than put my feedback rating at risk! Having said that, I have a 1978 camaro LT Automatic for sale. I bought this about 2 years ago from a guy at work that was getting divorced, drove it home and started restoring it. Here is what I've done 1) Replaced the engine with a crate 350 from Jegs 2) New Edelbrock intake, with Edelbrock 600cfm carbureto 3) New Headers and exhuast 4) New alternator, power steering pump, air conditioner compressor (AC will charge but leaks ) 5) New Master brake cylinder 6) New fuel pump, stainless steel lines 7) New tires and rims 8) Tranny flushed and filter changed, New Shocks 9) New radiator and Water pump All the gauges work except the clock, interior is pretty nice, no rips or tears in the seats, carpet is pretty good also, any white spots on the pics are sunlight hitting the carpet. NO HEAT! windshield wipers work and I have an extra set in the trunk. Original AM/FM radio. I have put 3500 miles on this engine and drove it pretty much every day to work. Really never had it above 60 mph and fixed it up as a daily driver, never raced or abused. The odometer has 88000 miles on it. Now the bad ( well its not really bad, but things that need to fixed ) The frame is solid and straight but the rear floor pans are rusting through and will need to be fixed. the exterior has multiple areas of rust, most look superficial but underneath the back window is rusting through the metal, the passenger side of the trunk has rusted through with about an 8 inch hole. there is a bondo patch on the left rear quarter panel and ALL the weather stripping has to be replaced. That's all I can think of right now. All glass is intact, no breaks or cracks. On Dec-30-11 at 07:07:06 PST, seller added the following information: I've gotten several e mails requesting pics of the underneath area of the car ( understandable ), I wanted to add that I drove this about 10 miles to work daily and it drives and tracks very nice, also the engine was changed at 85000 miles and there is now 88,900 miles on it making the new engine having 3900 miles. Has NO leaks, burns NO oil and runs GREAT! I also have it for sale locally and I reserve the option to end the auction early if it sells. Any questions you can contact me at 321-480-3103, Thanks, Gary On Dec-30-11 at 07:32:22 PST, seller added the following information: Just an update, I got contacted JEGS this morning and they confirmed that the engine was still under warranty and there is 2 years left on the warranty, its 100,000 miles or 3 years. If theres a problem the GM dealership will fix it, its not pro rated either. Thanks!
