1939 FORD V-8 DELUXE Offered for sale for the first time in over 30 years is this amazing 1939 Ford Coupe!!! A Southern California car since new, it still retains it's black and yellow plates issued in 1963!! In the late 1970's, this car was purchased from its original owner. At the time of purchase it was considered to be an extremely nice original unrestored example. The original female owner had used it as her everyday transportation for many years, and although it was rust free and had never been in an accident, it was tired and in need of repair. The current owner set as his goal to build the finest example possible, without regard to cost. Some of the most talented craftsmen in the business were employed to help achieve this goal. Metal and paint work were performed by a master craftsman employed by the famous Nethercutt Museum. A founding member of The SoCalSpeed Shop and Bonneville record holder rebuilt the original Flathead V-8. Original style interior was crafted and installed by legendary Tony Nancy. Although restored in the 1980's, this beautiful '39 Coupe has travelled less than 800 miles and has been on display in a climated controlled facility as part of a private Ford automobile collection. The current owner has reluctantly decided to market this pristine example, with the true desire of finding a new caretaker who will cherish it and enjoy it's use. It is offered for a very fair and reasonable price, far below what it would cost to replace. The quality and attention to detail could not be duplicated for the reserve asking price.
