Up for bid is a 1963 Lincoln Continental Sedan with suicide doors. I purchased this from an old man with some scrap cars but couldn't stand to see it crushed, thought someone might want to restore it. I don't know a whole lot about it except that he purchased it new in 1965 and drove it until the early 1970's when he purchased a new vehicle and it has been sitting since then. The odometer says 61796 but it may have rolled over. It has original motor and transmission in it. Doesn't run right now. The blower motor does turn on when you turn the key. Not sure what is wrong with it, but like I said it has been sitting for almost 40 years. The body is nice and straight and all the trim is present although some of it is rusted and pitted and would need refnished. It is missing 1 wheel cover and has rust in the normal places, the trunk lid has a rusted through spot, inside trunk is rusted through in spots, inside floorboards have some holes, and wheelwells are rusted, headliner is present but is falling down, one door latch is not working, seats are starting to crack and would need reupholstered, bumper has a couple dents but there aren't any dents that I see in the car body itself. All glass is intact, no chips or cracks. It would be a great project car for someone with the time, money, and know how.
