Vehicle Detail

Up for grabs is a 1981 Porsche 924 It has 88k miles and is a 5 speed manual. The clutch is in perfect working condition. The headlights still go up and down all the way. The back Porsche light still lights up bright and at night time it looks amazing. The body is in good condition. There are 2 small dents on the passenger side. This is a perfect first time car or fixer upper. It runs and drives great and gets 30+MPG. Has a new paint job. According to NADA this car is worth Low 5,600 - Mid 6,500 - High 8,500 I figured, I would price it to sell low enough to where you could complete anything you wanted to and STILL have paid less than half it's worth. Here is a video of the cars startup. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1896cC9yCU Here is a video of me driving so you can hear the car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69pXZ2p_FyE as you can tell there is no grinds or anything. Here is a walk around of the vehicle and it's problems. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKg8UmzYV-U The only problems with the car is, it squeals loudly on startup, I have gotten 2 answers on what it could be. Either 1.) the drive belt is too tight or 2.) rack and pinion. The emergency brake needs to be fixed, I always just put it in gear when I park as it never bothered me. It has a new hatch because the old one leaked. The dash has alot of cracks in it, common for this car. A good dash cap or dash cover would make it look perfect. Has a good CD player in it, however, it's not wired up to the speakers correctly so there is no sound. Other than that, this is a fantastic car. Most of the parts on this car are interchangeable with the 944, so there should be no problem finding what you need with ease, as I did with the hatch. I can even provide the contact info for the guy I have been buying parts from for the car. There are a few imperfections with the car, but you are getting an accident free, nice looking and RUNNING car for $1500. And yes the title is completely clean and clear. I bought this car a month ago with the intention of getting it completely fixed up and using it as a daily driver, however, I'm getting married in February and some finances have fallen thru so I need to get rid of this car to get the rest of the funds for my wedding. Shipping for the vehicle is the buyers responsibility. I will drop it off up to 80 miles out. I cannot do trades, I need this money to finish paying for my wedding. Thank you and happy bidding!
